About HiDay
Software for the question every parent asks
“How was their day?” HiDay exists to answer it properly, and to take the paperwork off the people who answer it.
HiDay is creche and preschool software made in South Africa, by zanisystems.com. It starts where most schools start, with the daily diary that goes home in the bag, and grows into the rest of the school office: fee statements, re-registration, compliance and the owner’s dashboard.
Why South African?
Schools here bill in rand, collect by EFT, talk to parents on WhatsApp, run re-registration every October and care about POPIA. HiDay is shaped around those habits instead of adapting software built for another country’s rules.
What we believe
- Teachers should tap, not write. Every minute at a tablet is a minute away from the children.
- Parents deserve to know. The day should reach them the same afternoon.
- Owners need numbers. Fees, seats and expiry dates should be one screen, not three spreadsheets.
- Children’s information is special. Access is limited by default and every change is logged.
